Chad Buckingham is the co-founder and a partner at Parton Buckingham PLLC. Mr. Buckingham practices exclusively in the areas of Family Law, Criminal Defense, and Civil Litigation and is committed to working closely with his clients to educate and assist them in making informed decisions as they walk through difficult and emotionally challenging times. In addition, Mr. Buckingham provides pro bono legal services to Safe Alliance, where he represents victims of domestic violence in civil court.
Mr. Buckingham is a graduate of Charlotte School of Law, where he was a member of the Business and Law Society and Family Law Society. While in law school, he also volunteered with the Carolina Foster Kids Foundation and Faith Hope & Love, a mentoring program for at-risk youth. Mr. Buckingham obtained his Bachelor’s Degree from the State University of New York at Canton where he graduated summa cum laude, receiving the Canino Prize for Academic Excellence.
Prior to joining Parton Buckingham, PLLC, Mr. Buckingham practiced law for a small law firm in Charlotte, specifically in the areas of Family Law and Criminal Defense. Mr. Buckingham’s experience also includes work for a large law firm in Syracuse, New York, primarily in the areas of medical malpractice and commercial litigation. Further, he has worked with the Department of Social Services and the Probation Department in his hometown.
Outside of the office, Mr. Buckingham enjoys playing basketball, golf, and hiking.
