Stephanie M. Proietty, Licensed Attorney Working As A Paralegal
Stephanie Proietty is a Paralegal at Parton Buckingham, PLLC. She earned her Juris Doctor from Charlotte School of Law in 2014 and was later licensed and admitted to practice law in North Carolina.
Stephanie grew up outside of Buffalo, New York and later attended the State University of New York at Buffalo where she graduated cum laude with a degree in Legal Studies. While pursuing her undergraduate degree, Stephanie sharpened her understanding and appreciation for the American justice system as moot court member and through an internship with the local District Attorney’s Office, where she gained her first substantive legal experience preparing for a First Degree Murder trial.
During law school, Stephanie continued to bolster her criminal law credentials and experience through an internship with the Cabarrus County District Attorney’s Office and several defense firms. One of her most rewarding experiences, however, was traveling to Vanuatu to study the positive impact of access to justice in the context of international women and childrens' rights law. While there, she helped raise money to fund the rebuilding and supplying a kindergarten classroom in the impoverished city of Port Vila. Stephanie also volunteered with the Mecklenburg County Foster Parent Association Clothing Closet, and she continues to harbor a passion for working with underprivileged women and children..
Prior to joining Parton Buckingham, Stephanie worked as a paralegal for a Charlotte firm that handled Title VII claims, whistleblower cases, and Wage and Hour disputes.
Stephanie is an active member of the Charlotte Women Attorney’s organization, and spends her free time adoring her dog, Tucker, attending sporting events, and traveling.
