(CHARLOTTE) Parton Law, PLLC announced today that Attorney Corey V. Parton has been inducted into the 2019 North Carolina Pro Bono Honor Society.  As a whole, the 2019 inductees provided nearly 40,000 hours of pro bono legal services as defined by Rule 6.1 of the North Carolina Rules of Professional Conduct.

This recognition from the North Carolina Pro Bono Resource Center is given to attorneys who have made valuable legal contributions to persons of limited means throughout the past year.  Each attorney chosen has provided a minimum of fifty total hours of pro bono legal services.  In a message to the State’s attorneys, North Carolina Supreme Court Chief Justice Cheri Beasly stated, “This is an affirmation of the highest ideals of our noble profession” (https://bit.ly/2XhCxOE).
