Our Legal Team

Attorney Brian North joins Parton Law with more than 15 years of civil litigation and appellate practice experience in Florida and North Carolina. This experience includes extensive trial practice and over 30 reported appellate decisions.

Mr. North obtained his undergraduate degree in International Relations from The George Washington University in Washington, DC. He later obtained his law degree from the University of Florida in 2009.

Mr. North’s legal career began after extensive public service. He served in the United States Army as a Combat Engineer with the Second Infantry Division in the Republic of South Korea and with the Third Infantry Division at Fort Stewart, Georgia. In 2001, Attorney North began working as an Intern in the Washington, DC office of U.S. Congressman John L. Mica from Florida’s 7th Congressional District. He was promoted to Legislative Assistant and worked there until he began law school.

Attorney North has led a Continuing Legal Education course to his colleagues on Trial Publicity, focused on providing practical guidance on how attorneys can balance their duty to advocate for clients with their responsibility to safeguard the integrity of the judicial process.

Mr. North grew up in Western New York and remains a devoted (but often heartbroken) fan of the Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres. He also remains an avid Florida Gator alumnus and fan.
