Our Legal Team

Darla Torres joined Parton Law in January 2025. She has more than 35 years of experience in Strategic Communication, including 22 years of active-duty service in the U.S. Air Force. Once she hung up the uniform, Darla led communication efforts for several organizations throughout the Washington, D.C., area for 15 years.

She has taught media writing and strategic communication courses as an Adjunct Professor at Liberty University for 8 years and led a Continuing Legal Education course on Trial Publicity, using her experience to provide attorneys with practical guidance and best practices on interacting with the media while balancing their duty to advocate for clients with their responsibility to safeguard the integrity of the judicial process.

Darla completed her undergraduate degree in Business Communication and earned a Master’s Degree in Public Relations from Webster University.

Originally hailing from Western New York, Darla is an avid Buffalo Bills fan. She and her husband enjoy traveling the United States in their RV, boating, and spending time with their growing family.
