Our Commitment to the Community

We Are Not Just in Charlotte. We Are for Charlotte.

At Parton Law, being part of a community means more than having an office here. Charlotte is where we work, raise our families, build relationships, and serve our clients, and we believe a local business should contribute to the community that supports it. From partnerships that celebrate the energy and identity of the Carolinas, to traditions that bring thousands of neighbors together, to charitable work supporting families facing life-changing challenges, we look for meaningful ways to give back. As Managing Partner Corey Parton has said, “We are not just in Charlotte – we are for Charlotte.” Our commitment to Charlotte and the Carolinas continues to grow, and we are proud to share some of the partnerships, events, and causes that are especially important to our team.

Carolina Panthers Small Business Partner

Proud to Support Carolina’s Hometown Team

Parton Law is proud to be a Carolina Panthers Small Business Partner, connecting our locally grown firm with a team and organization that are an important part of the identity of Charlotte and the Carolinas. For Parton Law, the partnership represents more than supporting football. It reflects our belief in the businesses, people, and institutions that make this region a great place to live and work. We are proud to stand alongside Carolina’s hometown team while continuing to serve the individuals, professionals, entrepreneurs, and businesses that call the Carolinas home.

Charlotte Turkey Trot

A Charlotte Tradition That Brings the Community Together

Parton Law is a proud sponsor of the Charlotte Turkey Trot, one of the Queen City’s longest-running and most beloved Thanksgiving traditions. Each Thanksgiving morning, the event brings together thousands of runners, walkers, families, businesses, and friends for a celebration of fitness, family, and community. With events for competitors of all ages and abilities, the Turkey Trot embodies the kind of community connection Parton Law is proud to support. Our sponsorship is about showing up for Charlotte outside the courtroom — joining our neighbors, clients, colleagues, and friends in a tradition that brings the city together and reminds us what community is all about.

Parton Parkinson’s Project

Parton Parkinson’s Project

Parton Law Founder and Managing Partner Corey V. Parton created the Parton Parkinson’s Project, a Charlotte-based 501(c)(3) dedicated to improving the lives of people affected by Parkinson’s disease. Through its annual Charity Golf Tournament and other charitable efforts, the organization supports nonprofits advancing Parkinson’s awareness, research, resources, and assistance for individuals and families living with the disease. In its first two years alone, the effort raised $27,000, demonstrating what can happen when friends, businesses, sponsors, and members of the community come together behind a shared purpose. The mission continues each year: raise awareness, expand the impact, support our neighbors throughout North and South Carolina, and contribute to progress toward a cure.

Every Partnership Reflects Our Commitment to the Carolinas

Our work as attorneys gives us the opportunity to advocate for people when the stakes are high. Our work in the community gives us another opportunity: to support the people and places around us before they ever need a lawyer.

Whether we are cheering alongside our neighbors, gathering at a Charlotte tradition on Thanksgiving morning, or raising money to improve the lives of families affected by Parkinson’s disease, the principle is the same.

Every partnership. Every step. Every swing.

They are all part of our commitment to Charlotte and the Carolinas.

And that commitment continues to grow.
